The Gospel invites us to Walk in Love with our neighbor in their footsteps, with the outcast and the marginalized, with those who need us. As we spread the Good News in our world, we carry the love and support of our congregation and our prayers into our communities. When you share your many gifts with your neighbors, every step is walking in love.
General Fund
The general fund at Calvary contains the monies used to handle the majority of the activities of the church. Out of it, our clergy and staff are compensated, utilities such as gas, oil, and electricity are paid, worship materials are purchased, and ministries in education, outreach, and pastoral care are funded from this critical fund. The General Fund is replenished by the generous annual pledges made by Calvary members as well as weekly offerings made during worship services.
As a statement of our faith, our annual service goals usually exceed our financial grasp. Thanks to the generous contributions of members and non members alike, Calvary will continue to offer a welcoming spiritual home to all.
